Lappequilt

At first today I want to show you this cute picture. I have been scanning it on my pc, from a book I found at school, where I work. Children a round a nice table in a summergarden, and the beautiful old house in the background. A veranda like this has always been a dream of mine, with a rocking chair where I cuold sit in warm summerevenings. - look at the garden and dream, and may be write a poem... Such lovely dreams....

I haven`t got so much sparetime to day for crafting, I have been working, and tonight I have been at the choir. But, I have started a new little project. I have cut some patcher for a quilt. The idea is to make some buttrflies and sew on it. A summerquilt. Tomorrow it is our countrys National Day, The 17th of May.

Hi Huldah, I found your blog through Lisa's site. That is a beautiful patchwork, I like that type of fabric. Is the style 'shabby chic'?

Hi Kelleigh, thank you for your comment. Yes it is the shabby chic style, I love it.. And I like the country style too. I use to mix it.
